I've been leading editorial and content teams for several years. Here are some of the skills I've picked up along the way:

Content strategy. Everything we create needs to be based on insight and data. To achieve this, I work closely with analysts and planners, then I plot user journeys, set the strategy for content and the purpose for channels, create content calendars, write briefs and start commissioning.

Concepting, researching and pitching. Coming up with ideas, researching their viability and pitching them – and, of course, reworking them when needed.

​

Consultancy, hosting workshops and client management. I work with clients to help them manage multiple stakeholder needs, to translate insights into consumer trends and I'm happy hosting and managing all types of workshops.

​

Editing, writing and ghostwriting. Copy is at the heart of every job I've had. From scripts to articles, social posts to site copy, speeches, blogs and presentations. Whether I'm editing work from freelancers, guiding in-house writers, interviewing, helping clients shape their own writing or ghostwriting – if there are words involved, I'm usually there.
